Complementary Color Scheme ( the middle colors should show as more of a red-violet and yellow-green, but the flash on the camera just doesn't portray it properly)

My still life objects

Negative Space drawing

This is my Negative Space drawing.... and I am hoping I completed it properly.  I did not find the book to be extremely helpful with this one..

Positive Space drawing

This is my Positive Space drawing and I used the 6B graphite pencil.

Organizational - Line drawing

My example is a corner shelf and lamp in my living room.  I used a 6B graphite pencil.  This was by far my favorite type of drawing for the week.

Contour line drawing

I found Contour line drawing to be a bit challenging.  I wanted to look at what I was drawing and found it difficult to focus on the basket I was looking at.  I used a graphite pencil HB.

Continuous line drawing

This is my example of Continuous line drawing.  In the reading it said it should look as though you can grab an end and "unwind" it.  I used a black conte crayon.

Gesture drawing

My model for my Gesture drawing was my husband.  Although he will tell you this does not look like him!  I suppose I have to agree.  I used the vine charcoal and I have to get better at pressing down.  I know it is light but hope you can all see it.

My ideal drawing

Being an animal lover and also facinated with eyes....I think this drawing is beautiful and perfect in every way.  I love that the only color is the green in the leopard's eyes.  It's as though you can see into them, and the detail is amazing.  I find animals and nature to be my personal favorite.  A simple drawing of a cat......
